What are the differences between the draft and published Definitive Edition ?

Now that that Definitive Edition has been officially released (yay!) - what are the differences between the published text in the pdfs sent to the backers, and the draft files that were sent a while back?

I don't believe Atlas Games has an exact list of the changes. Can anyone spot differences ?

I forgot where the QC page is, but the “Air Elemental Sample Powers“ on p454 is blurred in the high contrast pdf. Water and Fire are ok, and the full background PDF is fine.

Maybe we’ll get a 1.1 version in a few months, when enough minor issues have been found.

Beyond that, I really love the decorative layout and how it doesn’t slow while moving through the pages.

There are a lot of changes, especially with respect to layout and artwork, and things like page references, text corrections, etc. None of it is textually substantive though, I’d say; the text was not going to get any major changes after the draft PDFs.

Despite all the corrections, there are of course things that will still need fixing, so I expect we’ll release an updated file in the not too distant future. But Ben and Michelle get a break for a couple days first, at least.

I do love the decorative art, and that it scrolls nicely is certainly great. I do think the picture frames are too big, however, and I'm afraid I'm not very pleased with the quantity and at times quality, relevance, or inspirational aspects of the art chosen. The AI controversy doesn't help.

Still, overall it's beautiful and definitely definitive, and I suspect the physical book will look and feel even better.
