Whatever happened to the Junkyard?

A quick search of the forum didn't yield an answer, so I figured I'd throw this out there. It doesn't appear in the brief location descriptions in the Netherworld chapter, and I don't recall seeing it mentioned elsewhere in the core book. Has it been written out of the setting (some bit of hidden canon/worldbuilding rationale), or just passed over without mention even though it's still officially there? Obviously there's nothing stopping me from keeping it around in my own games, but it seemed odd to leave out one of the iconic landmarks of the Inner Kingdom.

Edit: Can't believe I misspelled "canon." smdh

There's not a whole lot of detail about the Netherworld in 2E, despite it being the place where things have most likely changed the most since 1996. I don't think any of any omissions as being deliberate statements of absence, but rather a sort of quantum uncertainty about the whole place.
