Didn't we already let you in?
Your backstory, you mentioned a Flambeau friend. My idea is that you came here with him. With your permission, I would like to create this character as an NPC
sounds good to me
Ameline will someday be a member and have her own lab but for now, she has the guest lab. She knows what she wants but would need help from builders to build it and help set up the pallet and medical area that she would have as the central focus.
LEGEND!!!!!
So there is a priest with two acolytes...
Kaloforo presents himself to the persons who ask me who am I, as a fellow of Archmage Antonio, as an artist (of statues if asked) from distant Siena. If somebody is evidently a mage, present himself as a Verditius mage. He can be generally found in the lab he selected. Often drawing.
Kaloforo, I am Theseus Ex Merinita member in good standing of the noble Order of Hermes. It is a pleasure to make your aquaintance. May your forges burn hot, and your chisels never chip.
(Latin)
There is a nun to the side of the courtyard, appearantly telling parables and stories to a group of the children. She wears a very traditional grey habit as she speaks to them.
So there is more than just priest and acolytes.
We have a priest, but no acolytes. Father Gonzolas is a retired Templar who lives in the village below. He has a church there and a decon that assists him. There is a small chapel in the covenant castle where he performs services occasionally.
I suppose this happens at the entrance, just after being entered.
Kaloforo looks at Theseus and says:"Vale Theseus, I am a member of the Order of Hermes, after the Gauntlet. I am pleased to meet you. Well actually I am more a wood worker, I build statues made mainly of wood, but I did some work with bronze statues. May the fates guide our path." he gives a look at Theseus, examining carefully his figure. Smiling he continues:"Now I have to see where I could bring my tools of trade. I suppose you might wish to set up your base here, becoming a member of this well respected covenant."
He then gives an accurate look around and look at the nun with the group of children. "This may give some idea for a sculture" in Senese, mutters in his breath, while going in the main building.
(Latin)
I think I may seek membership here at Andorra, or else in nearby locales. The mountains are forbidding and allow one to delve into magical mysteries with less interruption from mundane forces. I have wandered a great deal since my own admission into the order. I have seen wonders, and many horrors. A place to call home would be most welcome, and Andorra was well spoken off by the redcap Lejla.
{Casts eyes about}
The presence of the clergy is most reassuring, too often are people led astray from the divine, and infernal forces corrupt them. Hopefully the children can grow in faith, protected by practice of faith and the vigilance of those whom have fought the infernal in the past.
{refocuses on Kaloforo} A sculptor you say? Perhaps one day we might negotiate a commission of a piece, I hope. Such craft may prove most useful to features I hope one day to implement into a laboratory of my own. Have you interests beyond sculping? Interests in particular arts or subjects of academia?

Kaloforo stops one moment at whatever he is doing and explain in Latin: "Yes; I am a sculptor in statues, especially in wood; other solution may be allowed, but mainly I work with wood. Please, let me know" he smiles at this point " of any requirements, it might be an interesting piece of work. Usual fees applies". He turns to the donkey bringing his stuff and smiles again:
[i]"There is actually the matter of the laboratory to be solved first, and then everything will be done." Continues to work on the donkey bag."Ah yes I have some interest in the philosophy. What are your needs? As you mentioned peculiar arts, what are the arts of your interest?"
Also before starting to move the tools of the trade, (I suppose the group is in the area 3, as per the map andorra.wdfiles.com/local--files/map/Castle) Kaloforo handles to Archmage Antonio a diary, telling him in latin "Well, the trip was long. Here are some records and sketches about the statues I mentioned earlier, if you care to have a look we can start planning out what can be in done and in what time."
(Latin): I am thinking, that should I be admitted into the covenant here, I should like statuary within my sanctum. The time, type, and medium we can discuss if/when I am admitted... but if it is acceptable I should like to pay with vis. As to my particular interests in the arts, I have interests in each, but particular interests in self-transformations and the study of animal. I hope that my skills and the scope of my interests can continue to grow over the ages. Obviously, I have a keen interest in knowledge of things faerie as well.

Kaloforo, while drawing his first bag of stuff, smiles and objects in Latin: " Dear friend, mages pays in vis; villains pay in nature; gentleman in honour and bourgeis in money, so as it is fit to the true nature of our world we shall discuss of these trivialities when the moment is due. I'll be glad to listen to your demands, and I am pretty sure we'll find a reasonable agreement for both of us; regarding my area I prefer herbs and trees and imagines" While coming and going to 3 and 7 in the map (where is the area for guest... I suppose) Kaloforo takes more then one accurate look at the nun and the children. At a certain point he turn to the nun, talking in latin: "Salve tibi, I am Mastro Kaloforo da Siena and I am an artist. I was wondering if I could make an artistic impression of your teaching to the children."
(casts eyes about)
Asks Lejla (in latin): "Where might I find accommodation? To whom should I speak regarding making a petition for admission? And where might I stable my horse?"
(speaking to his horse... via animal ken): "All will be well my friend, you will get some well deserved rest soon."
Mastro Kaloforo will work as hard as possible to remove his stuff from the donkey to the chosen place, a place that has been selected beforehand as part of the agreement with Archmage Antonio, as a prospective employee and full member of the Covenant of Andorra, as discussed in the Devolpment section, added in this date.
If he hears the bell of the canonical hours, he will stop to pray briefly.
Ameline looks up at the other from her teaching the children, [color=red]"Salve Sodali. I would never deny an artist his right to his art as long as it is made to honor the Lord God and is not to exalt myself." The words are of faith and dress is traditional for a nun pledged to god but the greeting is that of one mage to another.
As Angado speaks to his horse though, the slender man that had been working wiht the hawk seems interested and wanders in that direction. He seems fascinated by the attention paid to the mount. By his dress though he is appearantly not of the covenant guard yet.
Theseus looks up from chatting with his horse to the man approaching.
(Latin): Well met. I am Theseus Ex Merinita, member in good standing of the Order of Hermes. My loyal horse is weary from a long journey. Could you tell me where I might stable, brush and rub him down? His forelegs are weary from climbing and I should like to see to his care before I seek out accommodations.
Theseus looks to the hunting bird on the fellow's arm with interest. Saying to it via Animal Ken... "You are fine bird, it is good to meet you."
Listening closely to the Latin being used about, Saul seeks out someone of authority to hear his qualifications. Saul hopes to find one of the consortes who might be able to point him in the right direction so he might (hopefully) find work here at Andorra as a lab assistant, or in similiar capacity.
(With short legs he leads his little pony, following the horses of those who reside within)
The bird is intrigued by the words of the man to it even as the falconer bends to the horse to examine it and speaks to it using animal ken himself. [color=blue]"You are a good horse and your master seems to take good care of you." he does not seem to understand a word of the latin though. He looks over the legs, the body, the neck.
The hawk is about the average intellgence for a hawk though it doesn't really respond. The hood has it thinking it is time to rest despite the words to it.
Theseus looks to the slim man as he speaks to the tired horse. Smiling, Theseus extends his hand.
(To his horse via animal ken): "It seems this man, too, can speak with you my friend. I have high hopes now that we can find a warm space for you to rest."
Jehan moves to take the horse carefully. He moves to get other animals settled as well. He doesn't care much about the guests of two legs but he is good to the animals and he doesn't talk much save murmuring to the animals what he wants them to do. Unsaddled, rubbed down, some mash and oaths and hooves cleaned properly with any stones removed. He does set the hawk up on a perch to rest after feeding it a quick snack from his hand as proper for falconer training a bird.
