Chapter 16 Council Meeting (Autumn and Winter 1014)

Thadeus returns the smile with a reserved one of his own, "We only wish to get to know you better before we decide to offer you probationary membership. I hope you can understand that?"

He then returns his attention to the other magi, waiting for their opinion.

Angus shrugged his shoulders and smiles ā€œJust let me know the subject and the vis offer when it suits your timetable Praetorā€

"Good question. I think it's Oak Circle," says Thom but he looks around at the other magi. "I don't know that we've confirmed that."

OOC Result of the votes

  1. Clarifying the rights and responsibilities of probationary membership (charter amendment). 4 in favour, 0 against
  2. Clarifying the rights and responsibilities of protected guests (charter amendment). 4 in favour, 0 against
  3. Allow Thadeus to draw 3 Perdo and 4 Vim from the covenant's reserves to bind his familiar (no share from this year's surplus distribution and a debt of 2 pawns against next year's distribution). 4 in favour, 0 against
  4. Use the remaining 9 pawns or surplus vis to trade for more Vim vis. 4 in favour, 0 against
  5. Compensate Elric for a season of covenant service extracting Vim vis, on a 1-for-1 basis. 4 in favour, 0 against

All are adopted.

Hamish, spending two seasons training the turb and trying to recruit new grogs, finds one new trainee per season. This adds two trainee grogs by the start of Spring. They are not fully trained, but have at least a grounding in single weapon. I see no need to bookkeep them. By the time they are needed, they should be able to take part in a trained group.

Are there any other changes to the Crew overview?
I do not edit it, but will copy it across to the finance thread when it is ready.

Only Telsa, Sasso, and the third ranger returned for the Winter Solstice, but they can tell that Finn and Thom left willingly with the faeries, and planned to stay over Winter.

When Thom returns, the other settlers for Oak Circle are eager to finish their preparations. See Chapter 17.
