General Table Talk

I don't see how this is different from how magi operate all the time. Of course there will have to be clerical labor involved etc. But it seems like a good deal for anyone involved, all things considered.

If Procella is willing to devote her companion to running the ships, and is going to spend time and vis to equip the ships with magic items, then I'm willing to allow a fleet of ships. It does occur to me, however, that there is already a simple mechanism for representing a money-making operation. Why don't we make it into an Income source per the Covenant rules. It can start out as a Lesser source of income and grow to a Typical source of income.

I think this is a good idea.

So where is everyone in making their characters? I have Artemis mostly plotted, have a good idea for a companion and then I'll kitbash up some grogs if time permits. I'm not the slow one am I?

I apologize if my medical issues have slowed things down. But I'm still dealing with some of the aftermath of my hospital stay and associated hoopla. I'm going to try and keep pushing things forward, though.

You're not slow at all QPaC. I've still got a heap of small items to complete.
Creating the toon using a spreadsheet, happy to share it.

I'm only on cycle 3, trying to get 4 done asap. It's hard to find the time, but slowly I'm getting there.

I' on cycle 4 as well, with a good idea for a companion and some vaguer ideas for grogs. Productivity has been low lately due to increased work and home duties.

Is there room for one more player in your saga Trogdor?

What do the rest of you say? We have six magi already. Is there room for a seventh?

I'm fine with it; it sees like life always has one or more of us out at any given time.

Yup, no problem.

Its true life has a way of taking up your attention.

Fine by me. I would suggest, however, that the new magus should arrive a bit late in game so we can start playing before the new player is done with chargen. Generation takes long using these rules, and the new guy'll be starting from null.

That was my plan.

Just as an FYI, I'll be on vacation from March 18th through March 29th. I may have some access to the Internet, but I'll be on my phone, so I don't expect to be posting much, if at all.

Sorry, I've been swamped at work (and home) getting ready for my vacation. I'm going to try and get a post in before I go, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make that happen.

I'm back from vacation and working on catching up.

I'm here too! I haven't been active because of the hovering over everyone.

Understandable. Sorry there's not much to do up there. I really thought everyone would come along down below, what with all the spells available.
