good one
Ah, yes, you're right. I had forgotten it had.
And his gift worked for him: He's so clearly awful, mad and dangerous that they thought it might make their daddy even more furious, while pissing of the boyfriend even more

Oh, I get the 'vengeance hook-up' part. It's the 'getting married immediately out of spite' that impressed me.
Or, you know, he got them drunk.
And a horrible flood!
It's not spite. He honestly believes he will never find love. So he'll settle for children.
It happens all the time, sadly.
I, for one, am not going to fault Ryu his taste in women (fantasy or otherwise). And if they have accents, too, then I'd say Ryu was making them just for me.
"Vera" = Christina Hendricks
"Edith" = Karen Gillan
...it's fantasy. I'm allowed to indulge my fantasy, yes?
...
I'll be in my bunk.
What about Alyson Hannigan?
I've seen her out of makeup... The wedding is off.
Good Bible.
Still working on:
Is there any indication as to when the Chapterhouse will be starting? Any date that I absolutely, positively, have to get it there overnight?
I rebuilt Roberto to Winter 1234 (the start of the year, meaning I finished through all of 1233)
I'm reading "The Apocalypse Codex", by Charles Stross (the laundry files are great!), and, taken in that context, given how the mariage went, this is chilling.
Reposting as I think the question was missed.
I didn't have any date in mind. I don't know if Marko does.
HERMETIC DRAGONS FTW!!!!!
You think that is a pillum of fire? SWOOOOOSHHHHH. THIS is a pillum of fire. Damn apprentices....
What is his voting sigil? The skull of Lancelot?
I am totally unfamiliar with this series. Mind if I ask what you mean? (Feel free to pm me if you want.)
Vulcanus grins. "Work, work, work..."
Gene Wilder, Funny About Love.
Sigmundo is looking at you contemplatively as he is chewing on a sausage.
I had thought it was a "Humans Only" club. What do you have in mind? I for one was thinking of bringing my "grandson" Sigismund into the picture. He is a Burgundian Fire Caster hedge wizard. Swear him in and I will be his "familiar"
I pity the hoplite having to enforce a "loss of familiar" penalty against Sigismund.
Burgundian fire casters, eh?
I believe the spell targets the bond, not the familiar itself.

That might not fly.
A "burgundian fire caster" might be deemed to weak and hedgy for even Ex Misc.
Now, if he's managed to bind a dragon, he might have something to bring to hermetic magic, but then, he'll have hungry bonisagi coming left and right to integrate it, which might cause other problems.
Finally, there's the fact that, well, it's still deception and a lie :-/ Even setting aside morale, if uncovered, that's not good either.
I believe the spell targets the bond, not the familiar itself.
I've got no idea. This might depend on tribunal. Do you have a reference?
Breaking the familiar bound would require a ritual, so, while it is certainly possible, I can see some tribunals just killing it, if only to spare the vis. OTOH, this is bloodthirsty, and I can very well see magi pushing for a disenchant despite that.
