Provence summer 1202, a matter of honor

Typhannie will slowly back away from the guards and the priest, keeping a wary eye on them, and on the man that's brought her here. She hoped that backing away, and the deep fog around her will dissuade them from attacking, as she had no desire to harm them.

Then guards raise their bows but are holding their fire. Meanwhile the priest seems to gain confidence from the retreating wall of fog and begins shouting louder how much he is banishing you back to hell, he begins invoking a saint to strike down "this unholy abomination".

Typhannie will continue to walk back slowly.

The men continue to advance, gaining confidence through your retreat, and the priest signals the guard to circle around behind you as he continues his exhortations demanding you return to hell.

Before the guards can break formation and circle her, Typhannie attempts, as a last resort, to make sure they cannot come near.

Casting Charge of the Angry Winds

As the winds begin all 4 guards and the priest are knocked back and blown over, but the spell shreds the clouds of fog around you, revealing your identity in the well lit street as the men are blown back.

Concentrating on that spell, she will continue to back away.

They are unable to pursue, but you are moving in the opposite direction of Paris and the noble's estate...

Once clear of this town, and it's Divine Aura, she will recast the spell of go, and circle it back.

spell of go?

spell of fog

okay, so you are south of town, middle of the night, surrounded by fog. To your north you can make out the light of a mob with torches approaching slowly and indirectly- the appear to have an impression that you went south but no clear idea where you are...

Circling the town to the east, but close to it's buildings, so doesn't get lost at night, she will circle back.

You spend a sleepless night flanking the crowd and maintaining enough distance to avoid detection, managing to re-enter the town and get halfway back across by dawn.

She will continue on for a few more hours, just to be ahead. After all, the storm she conjured last night is likely still going, albeit slower.

A couple hours later she is outside of town on a dirt road between fields.

She will search for a place to hide, preferably a stand of trees.

It takes another 40 minutes travel down the road but she does find a small stand of trees.

Time to sleep, but I need to make sure it will be harder to find me, should they search. And so, she once more casts Clouds of Thunderous Might, making sure the storm is formed before releasing the spell. And then uses her newly acquired Herbam knowledge to construct a simple shelter amidst the trees, to defend herself from the rain.

Build the Simple Shelter
CrHe 10
Base 3 (create wood in unnatural shape), Range: Touch, Duration: Sun (+2), Target: Ind (+1)
The idea is to basically create a wooden dome, with an opening, small enough that she can sleep inside.

Cr 9 + He 5 + Int 2 + Magic Theory 4 + Diedne Magic 5 - Fatigue 1 = +24

The shelter is made, but having cast the storm first (and one last night) the ground beneath is soaked. OTOH this was a truly great casting- roll finesse...
