We'd better post something then... Hmmm, something about... loganberries. Yes, a challenge. Fifty poundz to the man (or woman) who weaves "loganberries" into a post!
Although... given loganberries were created fairly recently and in California, I think my poundz are safe. Maybe Dewberries?
2 1/2 cups flour (have extra available)
1 cup unsalted butter cubed and very cold
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 shots rum ice cold
1 cup sugar
3 to 5 lbs loganberries
1 tbsp heavy cream
1 egg
Combine flour salt and tsp sugar. add butter. Try not to touch it so it doesnt heat up. add in rum a drop at a time until dough barely holds together.
Drink the other shot of rum.
Split dough into 2 lumps, one slightly larger than the other. put both in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Roll out pie crusts
poke holes in the bottom of the crust with a fork. combine washed and drained berries and cup of sugar in layers until heaped to the top. Leave a little sugar for the top. put top crust on. Brush on egg wash and sprinkle with sugar. Poke a hole in the top. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
My guess is, those who are academics are getting ready to move into campus, One player is still minus one PC, and I'm waiting on a PM from a player.
Summer, as experience shows, is typically a Bad Time for PbP games. Holidays (both the American and British definitions) and such. Right now, I'm busy cleaning up after 5 days of Severe Thunderstorms (Sunday through Thursday), and since my parents, whom I live with, are out on the east coast on vacation, I'm having to take care of everything myself, plus work 40+ hours.
I'll remove the double post, don't worry.
IF Mathius' player doesn't respond by Monday Afternoon, I'll take matters into my own hands and post for him.
Put it in a box, with some Dry Ice to keep it cold, and Fed Ex will ship it anywhere. However, I think there may be a small problem with the Royal Customs House, and the importing of foreign baked goods...
It seems governments don't like the importation of things like processed sweets (foreign made candy is expensive in the US - about double the US price), and there are problems with importing fruit and vegetables. Still, your pie may get there, you just may have to pay more in duties than if you went down to the local bakery and bought one there.
However, this Pi, I can ship electronically to you...

There might be an encryption routine that goes by the name of boysenberry, or loganberry, or what not... but all I could find is plain ol' Pi...
I think I'll just pick one up when I next visit California. It might avoid the security alert.
Tell me about it. When I lived in Campbell I used to buy my British fix from the local British food shop. I paid waaay over the odds for the stuff I bought, but to be fair to the shop they had to charge that to cover their expenses.
