Gardaitis, once he finally gets there, stands back and watches the fight. It'd likely be dishonorable to walk up and sink his axe into BoB's hamstring. Were it just himself, he wouldn't care, but the Brute may take it amiss...
very clever
I was waiting for some one to make that mistake or avoid it
Vibria is watching the fight intently, although she has no intention of calling next. She's not a skilled tactician by a long shot, but she hopes that by watching the fight, she can figure out the strengths and weaknesses of both the Brute and the Big Ogre Boss.
Been waiting on Fixer to play it out as the Brute. But I understand his availability is low at times. If he doesn't get to it by Sunday night, I will write up a narrative.
Guillaume, visibly upset to those who can see the invisible, decides to follow the villagers (invisibly) and keep them safe if he can.
The Brute is in a Berzerk Fury and just wants to keep on fighting. The Big Boss taunts him into single combat, the other ogres encircling. The magi are gathered off too one side, along with the firedrakes. Guillme, who is invisible, turns away in an upset mood and starts to head off back towards the village (but has not gone far). Venkath growls in retrained rage.
Grrrrrrrrr...
The brute and the ogre boss clash in a fury of blows. Big Boss Bob holds his own! A blow to the face knocks a tooth out but barely turns his head, and with a strike of his mighty hammer he knocks the Brute asunder! He rains down hammer blows, but the brute is barely fazed and leaps back to his feet! A left, a right, an uppercut, Bob is knocked to the ground and struggles to his feet.
At this point, the mighty Venkath can no longer restrain himself. His anger and frustration at being stymied by this Brute before, unable to beat it as of yet, it boils in his heart and he charges at the ring of ogres blocking his way.
They stand their ground.
He inhales...
Yeah, sorry about last weak.
The 2 next are gonna be difficult, too, although it should be marginally better.
Gardaitis twitches. "Venkath, STOP. Please."
(( Com 0 + Leadership 3 + roll of 7=10. Spending a Confidence point to make it 13.))
Vibria jumps in front of Venkath. "No, cousin, please! Let them finish their fight!"
GROWF!!!
Venkath unleashes a plume of fire. Which Vibria is immune to, of course. Proves that she is a cousin after all.
He snarls, but sits there. All tense and ready to pounce, but he doesn't move.
That won't make him stop. But Vibria did make him stop. So let us say that this occurs (or takes effect) at that moment. Call it an EF of 12, you totalled 13, so he backs down (but he still looks pissed)
Too bad her clothes aren't immune to the drake's fire (I think). So, she stands there, starkers and smokin' hot, more surprised than anything else at the moment.
the reaction of about half the grogs...

(drop whatever they are holding)
Esteban quickly strides up to Vibria (trying to conceal the fact that he's checking her out: Pre + Etiquette stress roll of 25). He first blocks the grogs view with his ... buckler, which is too small to cover everything ... and says in a stage whisper, "My lad -- er, sodalis, I can turn you invisible if you'll lower your parma for a moment."
((I had forgotten that Vibria was wearing armor...but it's "Full Metal Scale Armor," so I'm fine with the +30 damage gout of fire basically incinerating the cloth and leather bits, making the metal glow red hot before it falls to the ground to sizzle in the snow. Makes for a funnier visual.))

((Let's see if she notices: Per 0 + Folk Ken 0 + die roll of 6 = 6.))
Vibria starts to shiver almost immediately, and it's obvious that she's cold.
"Hmm?" She then looks around and sees how many people are staring at her, slack-jawed, and she blushes a deep red as she tries to cover herself up.
"Yes, please," she says, then lowers her parma long enough for Esteban to turn her invisible. "May I borrow someone's cloak or something I can use to get warm?" she asks through chattering teeth.
Veil of Invisibility is a Touch range spell, so Esteban first reaches to touch Vibria's hand, then stops because that hand is covering something else. Now he's really trying not to look, not too successfully. He gets flustered, and finally taps her on the elbow. Poof, she's invisible unless this is a stress roll.
Esteban is not wearing a cloak -- he has partial chain mail -- so he has no garment to offer her.
If Vulcanus could have an opportunity to act before Vibria vanishes, he would have used The Phantasmal Squire to remove his armor from his own person and place it on Vibria. It's a bit too big for her, naturally, and heavy-- but he would enact Hauberk of Supreme Lightness on it afterwards. "Apologies, soror; you will find my work is not so easily dispatched as that chaff."
(The armor is his talisman, and it is enchanted with Ward Against Heat and Flame.)
Now we have a pair pf true gentleman here
Estaban and Vulcanus happen to be two guys Carmen has interest in as well, so she mutters under her breath hussy...

"Thank you, Vulcanus," Vibria says, still shivering. "Do you mind if I cast a spell on it to keep me warm?" ((Robes Proof Against the Cold, a Level 10 Sun-duration Creo Ignem that heats a garment so that it's hot to the touch.))
She hasn't forgotten the fight, she's still keeping an eye on it.

((Yeah, I'm sure this is going to get the tongues wagging, with her Envied Beauty and Judged Unfairly. "Did you hear how that new maga stepped in front of that dragon and goaded him into burning the clothes off of her? And then had the nerve to act all shy and modest when it happened? Mark my words, she's going to try to bed both of those other magi by the next moon."))

"Oh, I... --Of course not," he replies hesitantly.
(I'm not sure how it works, but I expect that when she uses magic on it, she might notice that the armor is an arcane connection to Vulcanus.)
