Duration- moon - perfect!
The coin created will last until the next full and new moons have set (in either order). Plenty of time for your mage to be long gone.
Moon is +3 magnitudes above the minimum Duration, "Momentary". (Momentary -> Conc/Diam (+1), Diam -> Sun (+2), Sun -> Moon (+3).)
Range- Reach - perfect!
You can create a coin anywhere within "reach".
Reach is +2 magnitudes above the minimum Range, "Self". (Self -> Touch (+1), Touch -> Reach (+2).)

Remember- the "target" is the object of the spell, the thing that you are going to effect- here, what the spell will "Creo", or create.
On page 112-113 you see the various Targets listed, in order:o Individual - one "thing"
o Part - Part of one "thing"
o Group - a group of "things"
o (& etc)
You want to create one individual coin, so... "Target = Individual", right?
So, we have:

duration-moon (+3 magnitudes)
target- Individual (minimum, +0 magnitudes)
range-reach (+2 magnitudes)
Now, let's revisit the Level, which you had @ 30.
On Page 111, right in the middle, are "Level Guidelines". All spells start at:Range = Personal
Duration = Momentary
Target = Individual
These are, in fact, the "minimums" of all the Ranges/Durations/Targets, so any increase from there increases the magnitudes from the Guidelines.
The Guidelines are in the pink boxes near the appropriate sections- CrTe is on p 153.
So- your job, Abe, is to show you can combine these two aspects, the increase in Range/Duration/Target of your spell, added to the starting Level in the Guidelines. That takes 3 easy steps:
1st:
Find the starting level for your effect in the CrTe Guidelines (p 153). You want to create precious metal (silver/gold coin), so what starting Level is that? (see p. 153, CrTe Guidelines)
Okay, that's for a minimum spell Range/Duration/Target (Self/Momentary/Individual).
2nd:
Looking at the listings I gave [color=blue]in blue, above, add up the "increases" from the minimums. Each +1 magnitude = +5 Levels.
3rd:
Add the increase (+5 Levels/+1 Magnitude) to the base effect from the Guidelines. This is your final Level.
Give that a try, just fill in the form below:
Staring Level (from Guidelines):____ Level
- __ Magnitudes for final effect, x5 = + __ Levels
= Final Level of ____

Just to let you know, the entity known as Abe claims to use the 4th edition. As such those Targets would be unknown to him, but I do not think that makes a difference anyhow. Trolls will always be trolls... But if you do intend to play his game - they level playing field is thus 4th ed.

It's not a question of "sounding about right". There are precise rules regarding how the level of a spell is calculated.
Abe- my comments were re 5th ed, not 4th.
In 4th ed, Target would be "Small".
BUT- if you don't have the book, you're wasting your time and ours. [u][color=red]It just can't be done without a book.[/u]
Get a book, either the free 4th ed pdf download, or the new 5th ed (the one 98% of the questions on these boards address), and get back to us.
The Entity known Abe has earlier made it clear he had the free 4th ed pdf. If he says otherwise now he is inhumanely forgetful (having a pdf book or not) or his constructed trolling is disclosed. He also once refered to material from the 3rd ed book on the divine...
So yes he is wasting people's time - and he is quite skilled at it.

Right now I'd say trying to fix your spells is the worst job in history.

It would be a Social Virtue/Flaw, see page 39 (4th ed).
It would be a very low-class job, but a necessary one, and peasants were all dirty, and smelly. (Our modern society is far more "prissy" than they had the luxury of being.) IF you ruled that this was shunned by society, use "Outcast", a -1 Flaw. (p 39)
Outcast: You have the rough task of making it on your own—
normal society rejects you and you are not attached to a covenant.
Perhaps you have a magical nature, a supernatural background, some
disfigurement, or a tremendous scandal in your past. You may have
only inexpensive armaments.
IF you rule that it's worse than this, maybe a -2 Flaw, but remember- "branded criminal" and "Outcast" (above) are both only -1.

Have you ever considered not useing a game mechanic?
I mean techincally their are rules for walking. Do you roll everytime your character gets up from bed or tries to walk down a hall. Maybe you do.
I don't think a mechanic is necessary to detail a difficult or undesireable job.
A friend of mine was in a game like this.
For the sake of the game , my friend sat there saying
"I'm breathing in , i'm breathing out" repeatedly ,
just in case his character died because he forgot to tell the DM.
The DM soon got the hint.
