Hi everyone,
Haven't been posting. Post-grad stuff has been kicking my arse, and it's not getting any less busy. So I'm going to have to bow out. I can't dedicate the time or mental juices necessary to do the game justice

Darn it all. I'm sorry to hear that. But I totally understand.
Best of luck with the post-grad stuff.
Good Luck and Happy Thanksgiving
Good idea.
Having a senior magus in the islands is a good thing, having someone taking care of vocis properly too.
But does that mean we won't see IBT's awesome flambeau character from a while back?
That Flambeau concept is what I'd planned for the child character Lucien to become, so it still my happen depending on stories between now and the next 15 years game time. I'm cool with that.
I was drafting a junior wizard to join to (Andolvar) however picking up a current player-less character helps the story integrity far more than introducing a new one; so I'm very happy to play Vocis too.
Seems Vocis is fairly senior and has many responsibilities for me to get my teeth into.
To clarify: Vocis is still in charge of the library at the base covenant and also set to establish a hermetic hospital as two key objectives?
What were/are his current responsibilities?
If on the islands are there old thread stories I should read. I haven't found them yet.
Library: Yes, I think.
Hospital: Don't know
Current responsabilities: Other than these? Not that I know
Old island threads: I don't think so, which is a shame. Someone had something planned, but it all went south. I have a small bit I want to put there but not the time (maybe one Roberto is done kicking ass in The Visitor, but probably next year, things are increasingly hectic here*)
Many of us will suffer the end of the year cunch. It happens over and over again with PbP, so no worries.
As for Vocis...
He is still in charge of the library, but for the most part he supervises and lets Fleur & Lucas do the work.
The hospital bit is his Tremere assignment, and has been underway in the background. We can flesh that out.
He also has instructions concerning one Erat Caecus of Tytalus.
Yep, busy few days here too. Be back with you soon.
Hey guy
Just a heads up. I am in the middle of some crazy personel BSs
again!
Hopefully I will have it all sorted out soon. I will catch up then
Yes!
I'm glad today, the interpretation I had of T: Sense InIm scrying spells is now official ![]()
The spell "Palm of Seeing" in Through the Aegis is exactly the same as Arachné's "Through the Eyes of the Spider", and is also used through an Intangible Tunnel. This is silly, but I'm happy, especially as, AFAIK, I was a little alone to use them like this ![]()
Kill'em all, marko! And don't forget your relics!
Don't worry, either, I'm up dealing with our Pontifex suffering a bit of twilight-induced madness.
Relics are important. They slay demons AND give easy M.R. For only a minor virtue. Plus that pseudo confidence! Always use one, and only one, relic for protection.
Edit: In the city of brass thread, it occurs to me that one of the primary benefits of owning mortal slaves in the CoB, or anywhere in the magic realm for that matter, is easy learning in the normal world equates to easy vis production in the magic realm. A year of exposure xp in the magic realm equates to 8 vis. 77 years is a stunning 316 vis! Remind me again why things from the magic realm are generally disinterested in humans?
I thought the pinging was a function of Parma Magica and didn't apply to "normal" MR. Or have I missed something again?
Both statments indicate that you are mixing perceptions of fantasy and reality. There are relics in real life which have none of the aformentioned effects.
As for bean counting...
In real life, there are few who think the way you describe. They usually run informercials teling us how we shoud ive our lives better. But most people ever live as a munchkin in real life.
Hello!
I don't expect to be hearing much from you guys the next two weeks. Likewise, don't exect a lot from me. hoidays
In the meantime...
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
(moved to a more appropriate thread)
So. I've been thinking. About missed opportunities (specifically in the A Surprise Visitor thread). And wondering.
What would an inquisitor have done if, during his quest for Cathar heretics, have done if he had gotten wind of an honest-to-insert-god-of-your-choice-here blatant pagan in the area? One who could even talk to snakes and had a talking snake that she took almost everywhere? If that's not a sign of Evil, dunno what is.
Just an idea, in case anyone wants to run with it.
And in unrelated news, I'm still working on the Grand Finale for Bride of the Vavel Dragon. But...um...it kinda got away from me. I may have to split it into two or three posts when I get done. I feel almost sorry for Vibria for what I'm doing to her.

Especially given her blatant gift.
Too bad I can't do justice ot your idea.

It's fun on we're on 2 opposite sides on this. You write too much and too well, I write too little and it's clunky.
I hope I'll have the time to read this, though ![]()
