Table Talk

(Rhiannon, or Daggin? Is a stone robot wandering around exactly the sort of thing we want? Either way... could be humorous, at least from an outside perspective!

I guess the choice is between a more flexible "controllable statue" (tho' one without any volition/mind/skills at all), or a more subtle but equally more narrow-purpose "rock lifting" tool. )

I finished the consolidated Lab Text table, here. I was going to put it into the Covenant-in-deatil thread, but if I do then only "Cuchulainshound" (or our SG?) can ever Edit it. Did we ever decide on a shared Account for such purposes? (If we do, we should share the password via PM- probably better to keep it between ourselves.)

Scribe? Chronicler? Bard? whatever.

(And once we have that, then we each become mini-moderators, and can even Copy/Paste a post to a lower post, and effectively "insert" a post above it by Editing in the new info, if that order makes more sense.)

(posted in wrong thread- d'oh!)

Yes, three questions. That's one down...

(gonna have to think about mine overnight. It's 2 AM, and I'm beat. On the morrow, folks.)

Heeeere's Johnny!

Okay, we got him! He'll serve 2 functions.

  1. First and foremost, we can all log in as this guy to post/correct/edit/update the various "common" information, now beginning to be posted in the "Covenant Details" thread.

Before you edit/post, be comfortable that your changes have been OK'd by Kryslin, our SG, (unless it's just a typo or something.)

  1. Also, he'll be our NPC librarian specialist, when/as he needs to interact with the PC's. (We got him, might as well!)

Storyguide here...

Where is everybody...?

Sheridan, Stefan, and Daggin are with Mab and Diedre in Glendower's Lab.

Mathius is Torsten's Foundry and Forge.

Fabrica is where? With Mathius? With the group in Glendower's?

And Corvus?

Rhiannon is wherever Rhiannon is right now. Probably the library, and meeting the librarian for the first time.

Azaelle... Is on the road, or possibly at the inn, and due to arrive soon?

Steve

I've had a project due, and all my creative down-time has been directed there. The thing's almost done, so I'll post for Daggin tomorrow, with any luck at all.

(I still say Fluffy asked 4 questions!) :stuck_out_tongue:

As for where Corvus is... Bear with me. He's around...

Mathius is examining the artifacts in the room more closely. He will spend perhaps an hour examining them in detail, then going through the door to the rest of the lab.
I've been keeping quiet so that everyone could concentrate on the current tale

Azaelle is on the road and will be with you shortly- as soon as I run her revised character sheet past another set of eyes. Always good to check your work.

I was with Daggin I believe.

Sounds about right.

I was about to post, and have to go out for lunch. Will post for Daggin when I'm back. Projects done, distractions over, ready to go.

"knilp" ?!?!?!

You know, Steve, I've always thought that "drip" and "drop" were totally inadequate as onomatopoeic applications of a drop of any liquid falling into another body of liquid.

Thanks!

-K!

I was going to use "plink!" but decided that since it was magical, why not a reverse "plink"?

Steve

[>kcams!< to the forehead]

Honestly, Steve, up until I read your post in the storyline, I had been having a pretty crappy day. Thanks for turning it around, pal.

-K!

(About "Corvus meets Connor")

Mark, you are an absolutely fantastic writer!

And another one down:
Covenant Enchantments

Majority of the labs' have not, as yet, been investigated much at all, much less exhaustively. Need help with Sylphie's lab and Torsten's, tho' some of the latter may well be proprietal info, natch.

Also, reworded the "Library Guardian" enchantment somewhat - now clear how it works. (Not sure if it was legal, before???) Also S/M re appropriate bonuses.

Krys- not sure about what were temporary effects and what were permanent in Intro scenes of council room/etc.

Your GM is ill, and isn't able to sit up for more than 30 minutes or so at a time.

I'll be brief - one of my requirements for this PBP was someone else plays your shield grog. This is a rule that remains carved in Stone, unchanging and eternal. This will be worked out in play.

Also, if you are going to suddenly switch Locales, do so with another thread (I know, I'm guilty of this too, and plan on fixing this soon enough...) and preface the thread subject with [Story]

BellaDonna:

To Quote Capt. James T. Kirk : "The Word is Given." (Star Trek II : Wrath of Khan)

Thank you, and may your day be better than mine is turning out.

Steve
(Finally, I got my Master Title...)

Well, the characters are out there. Do with them as you will. If anyone wants to control/voice/write for Conner, please be my guest.

Apologies for the cutaway. I think in quite a filmic/tv way and waited until there seemed to be a natural scene break. Then switched to what was going on elsewhere. I'll be more circumspect in future.

I don't know whether you're able to delete the post and stick it somewhere else but I certainly wouldn't object.

Heck of an interview process.

Yeah. And very nicely written, BTW.

Very curious how Angus and Dierdre are going to handle that one. I imagine that at some covenants and all ships, striking a superior gets you flogged at least. Even Corvus might have to do some fast talking (and I have no doubt he can speak pretty quickly) with Dierdre.

Ooo. Could we play out the morale effects?

:smiling_imp:
